My name is Nichole Hawkins. My passion and commitment in early care and education began 28 years ago. I have worked in four NAEYC ( National Association for the Education of Young Children) accredited child care centers, Early Head Start and Head Start programs.

I am a facilitator of several evidenced based curriculum that include: Circle of Security, Raising Readers, Parents as Teachers and Mental Health First Aid and Coordinated Approach to Child Health (CATCH).

From 2008-2018 I owned and operated a State of Connecticut licensed day care home, serving families and children in a Promise Zone community. We offered full day year-round care for infants through school age children.

Our program included preschool curriculum that implemented the CTELDS, provided meals and conducted field trips. Our favorite was the annual apple and pumpkin picking field trip to Lyman’s Orchard.
