Legacy Lineage's passion and commitment to early care and education services began in 2008. Legacy Lineage offers an exuberant approach to children’s learning. We believe parents are their children’s first and most influential teachers. In response to Covid-19 Legacy Lineage pivoted their services and began offering virtual engagement to support homeschooling. We are dedicated to educating early learners in and supporting families. Legacy Lineage offers fun learning and insightful programming.

About the Director


Nichole Hawkins is a mother of four. Her career in Early Childhood Education began at Bloomfield Early Learning Center in 1992. She earned her Associates in Science-Early Childhood Education in 1998, became a State of Connecticut Designated Head Teacher in 2007 and earned her Bachelor of Science- Individualized Studies in 2013. Currently Nichole is a candidate working to obtain the State of Connecticut Early Childhood Teaching Certification.

She has worked with prenatal mothers and infants through school age children. Affectionately known as Ms. Nichole, she has been fortunate to work with children from a variety of social and economic backgrounds, diverse cultures and children with differing developmental needs including individuals with Asperger’s on Autism spectrum.

In 2008 Ms. Nichole began operating a licensed day care home, serving the community for ten years. Her approach to child care is based on Maslow’s Theory of Hierarchy and the Strengthening Families Protective Factors Framework. In addition to her passion and commitment to child care Nichole’s interest include: dance, yoga, art,
reading, family, food and travel.
